How the Burrow Blocker Machine Works to eliminate GroundSquirrel and Prairie problems:
The patented Burrow Blocker system pumps a slurry of water & sand into the Prairie Dogs' or Ground Squirrels' tunnels and dens. The water is absorbed into the soil, leaving the sand to seal the burrow and captures the rodents underground.
The one of a kind, trailer mounted Burrow Blocker is easy to use. After filling the water and sand tanks, place the slurry hose in the burrowing rodents' hole, start the generator, turn on the pump and open the valves. Ground squirrel burrows typically take 1 to 3 minutes to fill. Prairie Dog burrows usually take 2-5 minutes to fill.
This diagram is an approximation of what is happening under the surface. The Burrow Blocker uses water to carry the sand to the bottom of the holes. It effectively fills the ground squirrel or prairie dog holes and burrows.
Remember...Before Filling that Hole:
Check with your local State Department of Agriculture or County Agriculture Advisor for information on identifying animal holes and knowing your local protected animals.
Although, the Burrow Blocker is a farm and garden machine that uses only sand and water to fill burrows, some states may require a pest control license if you are filling holes for hire.
End users such as ranchers, farmers, homeowners and such, are generally not required to be licensed. Check with your local Agriculture Departments for specific information.
